In December of 2005 I bought a 2000 Honda Civic. It was a 4 door DX. My whole
intentions for buying it was as a commuter car. I was living in Southern CA at the time and
commuting about 65 miles a day each way to work. I am an avid gamer and I thought about
fixing up my civic a little bit so I started to look for a forum that delt with fixing them
up. Little did I know that the "need for speed" look was totally out. well in my searching
for a forum I found this local site. it was a little on the small side with only about 250
members but EVERYONE really KNEW each other. They are a site that deals primarily with
setting up meets which in my opinion really set them above the rest. That site was www.SoCalCivic.com.
Well in that time that I was a member I really enjoyed EVERYONE there. I went to
plenty of meets and fixed my Civic up real nice and JDM style. Actually I got it to the
point that I actually showed it once. So any how as things would have it I moved back up to
Northern CA. Well I enjoyed the extended family atmosphere and the friendships that came
out of www.SoCalCivic.com that when I moved up here
I wanted to create a forum that would have that same feeling and friendship that was down
there. I spoke with the administrator of SoCalCivic
(actually he is a very good friend) and he had no problem with a sister site to socalcivic.
and that is how NorcalCivic was born.
